The Slik Pro 340X is lightweight and durable. It provides many of the features of a full-size tripod in a small package. The legs on the Slik Pro tripod have four sections that can be extended to a maximum height of 57.9 inches. Additionally, the legs on this titanium tripod have speed release locks that allow for quick set up and tear down with minimal effort. Weighing in at 3.5 lbs, the Slik Pro 340DX can hold up to 8.8 lbs of camera equipment. This means it can accommodate many different types of digital cameras and camcorders. The three-way pan/tilt head on the Slik Pro tripod is used for fluid movements when trying to capture movement with minimal shake and jerkiness. When outdoors, the legs of this titanium tripod are padded with foam to allow for easier handling in extreme hot or cold situations. Likewise, the Slik Pro tripod has rubber leg tips for added traction on slick or uneven terrain.
